Looking for their first win, the Angels would be taking on the 1st place Jungleers.

The Jungleers would set the pace early however, outshooting the Angels 20-8 in the first period. Despite the advantage, it would be the Angels who score first with a goal from C. Nichols from the blue line.

In the second period, the Angels would get into penalty trouble giving up 5 power plays, including a long 5-3 situation. The Jungleers would capitalize twice with goals from K. Raff and D. Rhoe to take the lead 2-1 by the end of the second period. The Angels would get outshot again 15-4.

In the third, the Angels would finally get some offensive chances again. The Jungleers would still outshoot the Angels, but J. Glover would turn aside all 14 shots and C. Warlick would score with 6 minutes left to tie the game 2-2.

In overtime, the Jungleers would be the ones to score the game winner. A rebound that gets away causes chaos in front and P. Aas is able to bury the game winner for the Jungleers.

The tough schedule for the Angels continues as they take on another undefeated team in the Cactuses on Monday at St. Louis Park.
