At one point, the Bulldogs were getting sick of the close games. After the 10-4 loss to the Troopers, the team is just hoping to bounce back.
The team came out firing in the first period. The team was able to get the majority of the offensive chances and with 7 minutes to go, J. Zalesky gets his first goal of the year to give the team the lead for the first time in what seemed like forever.
In the second and third periods, the majority of the offensive chances flipped over to the Sled Dogs as the shorter bench of the Bulldogs started to take its toll. However, the game stayed close. It wasn't until there were 20 seconds left in the period before the Sled Dogs were able to slide one past J. Glover.
The third period saw more chances for the Sled Dogs and less for the Bulldogs, but despite the shot advantage, the game would go to overtime and end in a 1-1 tie.
The Bulldogs are hoping that this is the start of the second-half comeback. After the beatdown last week, the team is pretty happy with a tie and a point.
