The start of the Twin Cities Classic for the Sting didn't give them the result they wanted. Shame on Ice adds to their lead with 5:03 remaining in the period with a goal from C. Kuechle. The Sting would respond in the second period with two goals of their own. T. Chrun and A. McCann score in the middle part of the frame to draw level with Shame on Ice. But that would be all the Sting could muster this game. E. Johnson scores the game winner at the end of the second. Shame would score two more in the third, K. Bartels and C. Kuechle both scoring their second of the game. The Sting play the Mastodons in the second of their three game set. Shame On Ice will be taking on the Jets who also won their first game.
