After putting up 45 shots and getting nothing in return, the Muckers offense comes alive against the Pine Riders in Game 3. M. Easthouse and Y. Miller would put up 2 goals in the first period within 50 seconds of each other to break whatever hex was affecting the team. The Muckers would put up 4 more goals in the second period as Easthouse and Miller would each get another goal. Pine Rider T. Deans would get one before the end of the second to end the period 6-1. The third period saw a revival of the Pine Riders as they would put up 22 shots compared to the Muckers 10. Four more Pine Riders would find the back of the net in the third. But the wide open play would also lead to two Muckers goals to secure the game. The Muckers would get the victory 8-5. With a 2-1 record, the team will take on the Pigeons June 24th in Richfield.
