The offense comes alive but the losing remains a constant for the Sting. The Sting finally open the scoring first with a shorthanded goal by Todd Chrun. It is the fourth game in a row that Todd gets things started for the Sting. It is also the first lead for the Sting since November 26th when the team won against the Fighting Piranhas C1. The Norsemen responded to the first goal with a pair of their own in the second period. Boucher and E. Kellenberger respond in kind to close out a wild second period on top 3-2. In the third, things fell apart for the Sting. Tasca and Poppenhagen take back the lead midway in the period 4-3. Brett Libby scores soon after to tie the game for the Sting. Finally, a misplay of the puck by JJ Glover, the Sting goalie, gives C. Beckman an open net goal and the game winner. Champaloux would add another on an empty net to close out the game. The Sting hope to get close out a painful 2017 with a win on Dec. 30th against a very tough C1 Leafs team.
