The tough season continues for the Sting as they seem to be coming up short on nearly every close contest. Jones would be the beneficiary as he scores two goals in the space of thirty seconds. On the other side, J. Meyer stands tall stopping all 16 of 17 shots in the period on the way to stopping 34 of 36 for the win. A goal in the second for Ed Soler would be the last blemish for the Royals 3-2 victory.
